How should I book an appointment?

 Here are the options to book your session. 


            Online Booking: Visit our website at www.massageblisschicago.com to book your            

             appointment online. Our user-friendly booking platform allows you to view available     

             appointment slots, select your preferred date and time, and choose your desired   

             service and therapist.

Call Us: You can also schedule your appointment by giving us a call at +1872-222-1803. . Our friendly receptionist will assist you in finding the perfect time for your session and answer any questions you may have about our services.

Instagram: Direct message us at @massageblisschicago and our friendly assistant will help you in finding the perfect time for your session and answer any questions you may have about our services.

Walk-In: While we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot, we welcome walk-in appointments based on availability. Feel free to stop by our spa, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Special Requests: If you have any special requests or specific needs, please let us know at the time of booking, and we’ll do our utmost to accommodate you.

Confirmation: Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation email and text message with all the details of your reservation. Please review this information carefully, fill up the forms prior to your appointment and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need to make any changes. ** A credit card is required to reserve an appointment, however you’re not charged for anything until after the appointment is completed. After your appointment  you can choose another form of payment, if it’s needed.

What forms of payment do you accept?

At our massage studio , we strive to provide convenient payment options for our valued clients. We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Credit Cards: We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. You can securely pay for your services using your credit card at our spa reception desk or during the online booking process.
  • Debit Cards: We also accept debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo. You can use your debit card to pay for your services in person at our spa.
  • Cash: For your convenience, we accept cash payments for services rendered. Please note that we may not always have change available, so we kindly ask that you provide the exact amount whenever possible.
  • Mobile Payment: If you prefer to pay using a mobile payment app such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, we gladly accept these forms of payment at our spa reception desk.
  • Gift Cards/Vouchers: If you have a gift card or voucher for our spa, you can use it to pay for your services. Simply present the gift card or voucher at the time of payment, and the amount will be deducted from your total.

We aim to make the payment process as seamless and hassle-free as possible, so you can focus on enjoying your massage experience. What if I’m late arriving to my appointment? 

Understand that your appointment may need to be shortened to accommodate other clients or appointments scheduled after yours. Be prepared to receive a condensed version of the treatment or to have certain elements omitted to ensure that other clients are not inconvenienced. We will do our best to provide you with the services you have booked, but we cannot guarantee the full time if you arrive late. Full payment for your scheduled services will be expected. 

Do you take  insurance? What if I have a flexible spending account? (FSA)

No, unfortunately , at this point – we do not accept payments directly through insurance. But you can discuss  it with your insurance provider,  in case invoices needed and can be covered by the plan – we can provide it based on your visits. 

Are walk-ins and same day appointments available?

It’s always a good idea to call ahead at  +1872-222-1803 to check the studio’’s walk-in availability or same-day appointments before you arrive. This way, you can ensure that you’ll be able to receive the treatment you desire at a time that works for you. Additionally, booking in advance is recommended if you have specific preferences for your appointment time or therapist.

What should I do if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you need to cancel your appointment at our spa, we understand that circumstances may arise that require a change in plans. To ensure smooth operations and accommodate the needs of our clients and staff, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation Notice: We kindly ask that you provide  more than  24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another client who may be on our waitlist or in need of services.
  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 30% will be applied, with less than 2hrs – cancellation fee of 50% will be applied. This fee helps us cover the costs associated with the missed appointment and the lost opportunity to fill the slot with another client.
  • No-Show Policy: In the event of a no-show, meaning you fail to arrive for your appointment without prior notice, you will be  charged 50% of the scheduled service. This policy ensures that our therapist’s time is respected.
  • Contacting Us: To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact our studio receptionist as soon as possible. You can reach us by  phone at  +1872-222-1803 or by email at massageblisschicago@gmail.com. Also, you can do it yourself via your online scheduling system’s account.  If you are unable to reach us during business hours, you may leave a voicemail , and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs with compassion and understanding. However, consistent adherence to our cancellation policy helps us maintain a fair and efficient scheduling system for all of our clients.

The pressure isn’t deep enough, but i don’t want to complain. What should I do? 

If you find that the pressure during your massage isn’t deep enough but you’re hesitant to complain, there are several steps you can take to address the situation and ensure you receive the level of pressure that you desire:

  • Communicate with Your Massage Therapist: It’s important to communicate your preferences and concerns with your massage therapist. During the massage, politely let them know that you prefer a deeper pressure. You can say something like, “I appreciate your technique, but I prefer a firmer pressure. Could you apply more pressure, please?” Our massage therapists welcome feedback and are happy to adjust their technique to suit your needs.
  • Be Specific: Provide specific feedback about the areas where you feel the pressure isn’t deep enough. For example, if you feel that the pressure is too light on your shoulders or lower back, let your massage therapist know so they can focus on those areas and adjust their pressure accordingly.
  • Ask for Modifications: If you’re still not getting the desired pressure after communicating with your massage therapist, don’t hesitate to ask for modifications. You can request specific techniques or ask them to use their elbows or forearms for deeper pressure. Your massage therapist will likely appreciate your feedback and willingness to work together to improve your experience.
  • Request Focus on Problem Areas: If there are specific areas of tension or discomfort that you want to address during the massage, make sure to communicate this to your therapist. They can tailor their techniques to focus on those areas and apply deeper pressure where needed.
  • Speak Up if Uncomfortable: While it’s important to communicate your preferences for deeper pressure, it’s equally important to speak up if the pressure becomes uncomfortable or painful. Our massage therapists will always prioritize your comfort and well-being, so don’t hesitate to let them know if you need them to lighten the pressure or adjust their technique.

Remember, effective communication is key to a satisfying massage experience. Our massage therapists want you to feel relaxed and rejuvenated, so don’t be afraid to speak up and advocate for your needs during the session.

What should I do after I receive a massage?

What should I do after I receive a massage? 

After receiving a massage, it’s important to take some time to care for yourself and allow your body to fully benefit from the experience. Here are some tips on what to do after a massage:

  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water after your massage to help flush out toxins and rehydrate your body. Massage can stimulate circulation and release built-up waste products, so staying hydrated is important for aiding the detoxification process and preventing dehydration.
  • Rest and Relaxation: Allow yourself some time to rest and relax after your massage. Avoid strenuous activities or stressful situations immediately following your session, and give yourself permission to unwind and enjoy the sense of relaxation that comes with massage therapy.
  • Stretch: Incorporate gentle stretching into your post-massage routine to help prolong the benefits of the massage and promote flexibility. Focus on stretching areas of the body that were targeted during the massage or areas that feel particularly tight or tense.
  • Take a Warm Bath or Shower: Taking a warm bath or shower can further relax your muscles and enhance the effects of the massage. Adding Epsom salts or essential oils to your bath can help soothe sore muscles and promote relaxation.
  • Apply Heat or Ice: If you experience any soreness or discomfort after your massage, you can apply heat or ice to the affected areas to help alleviate pain and reduce inflammation. A warm compress or heating pad can help relax tense muscles, while an ice pack can help reduce swelling and numb pain.
  • Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to how your body feels after the massage and honor any sensations or reactions you may experience. Some people may feel energized and invigorated, while others may feel relaxed and sleepy. Allow yourself to respond intuitively to what your body needs.
  • Schedule Regular Massages: To maximize the benefits of massage therapy, consider scheduling regular sessions on a consistent basis. Regular massages can help prevent muscle tension and stress from building up over time, leading to improved overall health and well-being.

If I’m attracted to my massage therapist, can I ask him or her out?

Our professional ethical code of conduct that requires us to make sure boundaries are clear, and massage therapist-client relationships must be kept professional, or be terminated if things become personal. Additionally, we have a zero tolerance policy and any sexual advances , innuendo, or inappropriate touching is grounds for immediate termination of your session.
